About this event

Corporate Venture Capital (CVC) has emerged as a strategic tool for chemical companies seeking access to breakthrough technologies, sustainable processes, and new business models. As the industry faces pressure from decarbonization mandates, supply-chain volatility, and digital transformation, CVC units are increasingly investing in startups across advanced materials, green chemistry, biotech, and process automation. This discussion explores whether CVC is merely opportunistic investing—or a core lever for long-term competitive advantage and industry reinvention.

This panel will explore:
  · Strategic Rationale
  · Innovation Acceleration
  · Sustainability & Energy Transition
  · Risk & Governance
  · Financial versus Strategic Returns
  · Partnership Models
  · Competitive Landscape
  · Exit Strategy

The webinar will be moderated by Federico GM Mennella, CFA Managing Director at DC Advisory in New York City.
